Abstract

In the second quarter of 2007, the Taiwanese desktop PC industry benefited from the fact that the new channel strategies of Dell, HP, and Acer were starting to show results, and demand in emerging markets. Therefore, Taiwanese desktop PC shipment volume is estimated at 10.6 million units in the second quarter, up 28.2% year-on-year and 4.2% sequentially.
